KBC world cup game today 24-11-2022

The match between Switzerland and Cameroon is one of four games that will be contested on November 24th for the 2022 World Cup.

The game will be played in Al Wakrah's Al Janoub Stadium and is part of Group G.

In a pre-tournament friendly game against Ghana, Switzerland came into the encounter with a 2-0 loss.

Due to several substitutions made by both teams in the second half, the Swiss, who gave up two goals in the game's closing 20 minutes, did not have the best pregame.

Three of Switzerland's past four victories—all three in the UEFA Nations League—have come from victories in that competition.

In addition to a fantastic 2-1 victory in Spain, Switzerland also defeated Portugal and the Czech Republic at home.

The three victories did not place Switzerland at the top of the group, but they did demonstrate the Swiss' ability to perform when they are at their best.

Two points ahead of the European champions Italy, Switzerland won their World Cup qualification group.

They were unbeaten in the group and put in a great defensive effort, allowing only two goals in their eight qualifying games.

In their final four World Cup qualifying matches, Switzerland scored two goals or more, and in their final seven World Cup qualifying contests, they recorded six clean sheets.

The penultimate friendly match before the 2022 World Cup saw Panama hold Cameroon to a 1-1 draw.

A few minutes after the break, Cameroon scored first, and seven minutes later, Panama tied the score, and that was how the game ended.

Due to that outcome, Cameroon has lost all four of its most recent games, which were all friendly contests.

In addition to losing to the Republic of Korea and Uzbekistan, they also drew 1-1 with Jamaica.

With five victories out of their six games, Cameroon finished first in Group D during World Cup qualifying, two points ahead of Ivory Coast.

Due to their success in the second round of qualifying, Cameroon faced Algeria in a two-leg playoff.

It appeared that the Indomitable Lions would lose the match after losing the first leg at home by a score of 1-0.

But Cameroon managed to qualify after taking the second leg 1-0 and scoring the game-winning goal in the final seconds of extra time.

According to trends, there have been fewer than 2.5 goals scored in each of Cameroon's previous five games across all competitions.

Considering that goalie Yann Sommer has recovered from an injury, the Swiss team should be fully healthy for this match. In the attack, Noah Okafor is vying for the lead role.

Vincent Aboubakar, a seasoned striker, will lead the assault for Cameroon from the outset. A vital member of the central midfield is André-Frank Zambo Anguissa.
