Qatar bans Alcohol in the stadiums


According to the World Cup officials, the Qatar World Cup organizers plan to impose a ban on alcohol sales.


Just a day before the World Cup begins, the news is anticipated. "Our aspirations never materialized." These guys assisted in creating the World Cup in Qatar, but now they are battling for survival.


Qatar said in September 2022 that World Cup fans with tickets will be able to buy alcoholic drinks three hours before kickoff and for an hour after the final whistle, but not during the game itself.


One of FIFA's sponsors, Budweiser, tweeted, "Well, this is embarrassing."


The biggest brewer in the world, Anheuser-Busch InBev, is the owner of the beer brand.


Before and after each game, Budweiser planned to serve beer within the ticketed areas around each of the eight stadiums.


Budweiser, FIFA, and Qatar's Supreme Committee are yet to issue a formal comment.


The 2022 World Cup in Qatar will take place from November 20 until December 18.


People think of the Gulf State as being very conservative because it has strict rules about the use and sale of alcohol.
