Mike Sonko, a former governor of Nairobi, has commented after his name was linked to the Mary Lincoln controversy.


Sonko posted a video where popular TikTok star Sue Gacambi expressed her curiosity about how the musician's private photographs were released.


Gachambi made light of the former governor's history of covertly filming and disseminating material.


"I believe she sent Sonko the pictures, but what do you think?" In joking, she said to her followers, "Sonko has a habit of releasing other people's tapes and images.

The former Nairobi governor responded by disputing the allegations and asking why his name was being linked to the incident.


“Aki mnapendakunionea mimi I was just chilling them boom jina Sonko... Hata sijui huyu dame,” he said on his social media platforms.
