The governor of Trans Nzoia, George Natembeya, met the nurse whose video went viral in person.


The woman known as Elizabeth Robai was seen performing to the well-known song "Baby Shark" in the internet sensational video "a song to cheer up a sick kid in Ward 8 of Kitale level IV hospital."


The governor expressed his fascination with the woman in the film and his appreciation for her hard work.


"I find it fascinating when a recovering youngster is amused by a pediatric nurse from Kenya Medical Training Institute (KMTC) Kitale, Elizabeth Robai Lukelesia. Elizabeth, good job! "Service delivery commitment is our driving philosophy," Natembeya tweeted.


 

The governor offered to pay for Elizabeth's tuition in full and pledged her an internship and a job once she finishes her education in an interview after their meeting today.


 

In a statement, he said, "This evening I hosted paediatric nurse Elizabeth Robai Lukelesia, a Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) student who was shown in a viral video amusing a recovering youngster in Ward 8 at Kitale level IV hospital.


Adding, "I've promised to pay for her tuition for the remainder of the time she spends in school, further guarantee she completes an internship, and eventually help her be hired as a pediatric nurse. Elizabeth Robai, congratulations! Your hard work and commitment have paid off."
