Purity Museo, an award-winning journalist, wed her lifelong partner in a lavish marriage ceremony in Mombasa, ending her engagement.

Careen Kibbett, a longtime confidante and fellow journalist, posted pictures from Museo's private wedding on social media.

On her birthday, November 27, she married the love of her life.

"PURITY MUSEO, CONGRATS ON YOUR NUPTIALS." "All Glory Goes To God!" wrote Caren Kibbett.

Caren stated in one of her postings that her birthday and Museo's wedding are on the same day.

Numerous personal friends and family members from both sides attended the invitation-only wedding.

One of the bridesmaids that attended the wedding was Ms. Kibbett. On her special day, the KBC sports anchor shared photographs of herself having fun with Museo.

Aside from the wedding, Purity was snatched from KBC in June 2022, when KTN was trying to modernize its newsroom.

She made her debut alongside Fathiya Nur, who was snatched from BBC Nairobi.

Both Nur and Museo, who formerly worked on BBC and KBC, had their KTN debuts in the same week.

On May 17, 2022, Purity Museo and KBC ended their three-and-a-half-year partnership. She had been paired with renowned news anchor Tom Mboya at the station for the evening newscast.

Fathiya Nur, on the other hand, thrilled the BBC in May 2022 after spending 4 years there.

At the Zikomo Awards, which were hosted in Zambia in April 2021, Purity Museo won two prizes: the Best TV Personality in Africa Award and the Lifetime Achievement Award (Media Personality).
