After arguing over a customer, two ladies were prosecuted and tried in court.

Sarah Hope Luyemba and Vivian Esther Agutu, both businesswomen, are accused of fighting in public with full knowledge.

On September 10, 2022, around midday, along Moi Avenue Street in Nairobi County, they got into a brawl.

The two women were at their respective places of business on the material day, the prosecutor claims, calling out customers.

When a client entered one of the ladies' shops, they began to pull the person and eventually got into a brawl.

The trial judge questioned the two to uncover their motivations for duelling.

The women said that they were trying to get more customers because the economy was bad.

Muchemi told the two to work out their disagreement and appear before her on November 5th.

They were released on 5,000 shilling cash bonds each of them.
