Bill Gates, an American businessman and owner of the Microsoft Corporation, is currently in Kenya, where he will participate in several public events.


Gates will visit Makueni County on Tuesday and is expected to see the governor, Mutula Kilonzo, at his county office.


The businessman's No. 1 priority in Kenya is healthcare. He is scheduled to stop by the Makueni Mother and Child Hospital, which focuses mostly on providing healthcare to mothers and children, and the Kathonzweni Health Center, where he is anticipated to run into medical volunteers.


Gates would later visit two irrigation-farming farmers in Kathonzweni who are climate change advocates.


Bill Gates is scheduled to give a speech on November 17 about innovating for food security and addressing climate change in Africa. The University of Nairobi will broadcast the event live.



The American entrepreneur who founded the Melinda and Bill Gates Foundation is dedicated to assisting all individuals in leading happy, healthy lives.
