KBC world cup 2022 fixtures

Ecuador will face the host Qatar in the opening match of the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The match will be live on KBC and its all subsidiaries.

Ecuador qualified for the World Cup by tasking its South American opponents with a staunch defense. In CONMEBOL qualification, Ecuador allowed only 19 goals, which was the joint-fewest of any side other than Brazil or Argentina, who dominated the competition.

La Tri competes in the World Cup despite Chile, another South American team, contesting their eligibility.

Even though the court ruled that Byron Castillo is an Ecuadorian citizen, Ecuador was found to have forged some paperwork and lost points toward qualifying for the next World Cup cycle.

Qatar, on the other hand, automatically qualified as the tournament's hosts and will want to use home advantage to stun the world in the first game.

Ecuador is the match's frontrunner, but Qatar benefits from being the host team, which isn't anything to laugh at.

Recent World Cup hosts can attest to the fact that this impact exists. South Korea made it to the semifinals of the 2002 World Cup, which was co-hosted by South Korea and Mexico.

In 2010, South Africa surprised everyone by doing well in the group stage, despite being a huge underdog, before being kicked out on goal difference.

Although oddsmakers will give Qatar a chance to win the game, they feel certain that it will only take a few goals to seal the victory.
