A Kisii man was detained after being found in a hotel room with a child.

 

A male who was discovered to be in the company of a juvenile at a bar while staying at Nyabisabo Market is now being held by officials from Keumbu, which is located in Kisii County.

Together with Assistant Chief Bonface Obiri Ogari of the Nyamagwa sub-location and members of Nyumba Kumi, Chief Samuel Mogaka of the Kerera location area took custody of Evans Ong'ongo, a 25-year-old man.

A police report says that the owner of the pub was taken into custody during the afternoon incident.

In an effort to bring about the bar's closure, the ACC Keumbu Division and the OCS Keumbu Police Station are now in discussion.

Even though the investigation is still going on at the Keumba Police Station, both the child and the suspect have been taken there.
