Born-again Religious leaders urge the government to take measures against impostor pastors running churches around the nation.

The people should cease criticizing born-again church leaders for enabling impostor pastors to practice in the nation, according to Apostle Dr. Joseph Serwadda of Victory Church in Ndeba and Pastor David Kiganda of Christian Focus Center in Kisenyi, Kampala.

They contend that the state should restrict the appearance of impostor pastors since it is the role of the government to control and coordinate the activities of these churches.

The two pastors made the comments when they accepted advertising services from MTN Uganda, which is continuing to support several end-of-year activities that will take place all around the nation as the globe enters the New Year of 2023.

The public uproar against bogus pastors stealing from their flocks has persisted for a very long time.

According to the government, they are planning to begin vetting, re-registering, establishing true churches, and removing church cartels.
