Investigative journalist Brian Obuya, who works for Nation Media Group's NTV, was purportedly detained on Wednesday after being discovered inside a woman's house in Nairobi's Kasarani neighborhood by her husband.
At the moment, Mr. Brian Obuya is being detained in one of the detention cells at the police station as his colleagues and friends try to set him free.
It's unclear what Brian was looking into and how long he's been looking into the married man's home.
According to reports, the homeowner requested that the journalist be charged with trespassing and breaching his property.
In October 2021, Obuya unexpectedly left the Standard Media Group and went to NTV.
According to reports, the drama started on Wednesday at about two in the morning.
Brian is still locked up in jail, waiting for whatever will transpire since the plaintiff requested that the journalist appears in court.
