Moses Njoroge who met his lover on facebook, threw her from 12 th floor storey building will be jailed for 5 years.

A guy who tossed his date from the 12th floor storey building in Nairobi's Central District (CBD) has been sentenced to five years in jail by a Nairobi court after a date gone wrong.

Magistrate Esther Kimilu made a decision on December 1 that Moses Njoroge hurt Eunice Wangari, whom he met on Facebook.

In the event on September 13, 2020, Wangari sustained severe pelvic injuries.
She went to Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) for more than two months to get expert medical care for her injuries.

Wangari claimed that on the tragic day, she left her parents' house in Karura to go on a date with the suspect in Nairobi's central business district.

Since they had just virtually met on the social networking site Facebook, it was their first actual date.

Wangari, who told her story, said that they ate lunch at Ambank House, where he had an office, after going to see Mt. Njoroge.

They went back to Ambank House, this time with a drink in hand, and made themselves at home on the 12th floor, where they remained until Wangari told her date that it was time for her to head home at approximately 7.30 p.m.

She said before the court that the suspect insisted on staying the night with her because she was unhappy that she was going.

Wangari is said to have fallen three floors to the ninth floor after the suspect threw her from the 12th floor during the next fight.

The man will serve 5 years behind bars.
