Evangelist pastor Ezekiel Odera of New Life Church, which is headquartered on the coast, has lately been under the limelight for bringing a sizable audience to Kasarani during his crusade on Sunday, November 27, 2022—a feat that has only been performed by experienced politicians.
In a recent interview with a local television station, Pastor Ezekiel discussed the cost of running his church, which, according to him, is located on 6.5 acres of property and draws at least 45,000 local and foreign worshipers each week.
According to him, few members of the congregation are from the coast; the majority are from Nairobi and Tanzania.
The man said, "Washirika wengi sana wanatoka Nairobi, Tanzania, America, and all across the globe, but very few are from the Coast."
The clergyman further said that he often preaches from morning until evening, forcing him to forego both breakfast and lunch.
The preacher claims that his summons begin at 9:30 AM and end at 7:00 PM, and that throughout this whole period, he stands at the pulpit to preach and perform God's miracles.
Ezekiel acknowledged that missing family time is tough, but he must still carry out his obligations.

"I failed to fill the stadium; I am unable to draw such a huge crowd." No human being can achieve it; only Jesus can. Those individuals come to see God," he observed.
Regarding his history, he said that he was a college dropout who was born and raised in a lowly household in Homabay County. He turned to fishing after quitting before deciding to dedicate his life to serving God.
A few kilometers outside of Kilifi town, in Mavueni, is where Pastor Ezekiel's church is located.
