The Standard Media Group and the media community are in sorrow after the discovery of a print media editor's body on December 22.
According to reports, business editor Moses Okiror Omusolo of the Standard Group was killed, and his corpse was left on the side of Kangundo Road.
Omusolo, 35, was allegedly discovered lying dead in a ditch by the side of the road with significant skull fractures.
Since then, the police have started looking into the murder.
Earlier this year, Mr Omusulo got engaged and he was planning his wedding that would have taken place in February 2023.
He was a graduate of Masinde Muliro University class of 2013.
According to the police a black backpack, with personal documents, was recovered next to the body of the deceased.
