Albert Sambi Lokonga

Albert Sambi Lokonga is in the middle of a loan deal between Arsenal and Crystal Palace.

After failing to sign top transfer target Moises Caicedo from Brighton, Arsenal have agreed to pay Chelsea £12 million for Jorginho on the final day of the transfer window.

The deal between Arsenal and Chelsea is sealed.

As a result of Arsenal's elimination from both of their domestic cup competitions, it is probable that Lokonga, who hasn't played in a Premier League match since October, will have even less playing time going forward.

After a challenging stretch at the Emirates Stadium, Arsenal wants to make sure that the Belgian international can receive a consistent amount of playing time so that he can rediscover his form and play at his best.

Lokonga has been linked with a move to Crystal Palace, where he would play with Arsenal veteran Patrick Vieira.

Since moving to north London, Lokonga's position in the organization has steadily gone down, and Mikel Arteta hasn't shown him much kindness because of this.

In response to an interview in which Lokonga expressed his dissatisfaction with his playing time, the Spaniard remarked, "We'll see more, and he needs to show that what he's asking for he can provide on the field," Lokonga had expressed his dissatisfaction with his playing time.

"We are looking for each and every player to improve their level so that we can obtain the correct level of competitiveness inside the squad."

"When you play and perform in a manner that allows us to win games and play well enough to win games, we will consider that a success."

It is believed that Arsenal's pursuit of Declan Rice will not be affected by the transfer of Sebastien Lokonga.

Mikel Arteta's main goal for the club is for the Gunners to sign the England international from West Ham during the summer transfer window.
