During the retreat that the Cabinet had in Nanyuki, Laikipi County, on December 6th, Susan Nakhumicha, the Secretary of the Health Cabinet, was surprised with a birthday treat to celebrate her special day.
At the retreat, not long after dinner, the CS was surprised with a cake and birthday greetings from coworkers, who also delivered the cake to him.
Cabinet secretaries, principal secretaries, and other high-ranking officials from the government were present and participated in the meeting that took place on Thursday. It was presided over by President William Ruto and his deputy, Rigathi Gachagua.
" That was my best birthday celebration ever. Also, thank you President for the present, " she said.
Rich businessman Humphrey Kariuki owns the Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club, which is a fancy hotel in Nanyuki and where they went to have fun.
On the agenda for the retreat was the adoption of "The Plan," which was the name for the government's plan to change the economy based on the goals of the Kenya Kwanza government.
In addition to that, it intended to assess how well the new government has been doing its duties since President Ruto took office on September 13, 2022.
