Edwin Chiloba eye gouged out

In a preliminary report from the police, the horrible details of how LGBTQ activist and model Edwin Chiloba died have been revealed.

According to the report, Chiloba had his eyeballs gouged out before he was strangled to death, which may have contributed to his death.

Peter Kimulwa, an officer with the Uasin Gishu County Directorate of Criminal Investigations, stated, "Aside from the eyes being gouged out, there were no physical injuries on the body, suggesting that the victim might have died of choking." This was about the fact that the eyes had been gouged out.

Chiloba passed away on New Year's Eve, and the police and his family are still waiting for the results of an autopsy to determine the reason for his passing.

24-year-old Jackton Odhiambo, a freelance photographer residing in Nairobi, confessed to the murder of his boyfriend, Chiloba, not long after he was taken into custody.

The Langas police station in Eldoret, which is located in Uasin Gishu County, is now holding him.

Odhiambo told the authorities that he had no choice but to perpetrate the murder after discovering that Chiloba had been seeing someone else around the time of the crime.

It is believed that he was murdered with the assistance of two of his other pals. After the murder, he is said to have placed the corpse in a metal box and then discarded the deteriorating body along the Kapsaret-Kipkenyo road.

The investigation into the gruesome murder of Chiloba has resulted in the arrest of three further suspects. The three people who are in jail right now are there because they had the metal box that was used to throw away the body of the dead person.

A representative for the police department named Resla Onyango said that the accused were under the age of 18. She also stated that the vehicle that was used to dump the corpse of the dead person had been found by the cops.

After the primary suspect was taken into custody in Eldoret town on January 6, 2023, the number of people under investigation has now increased to four after the arrest of two minors.

In the meanwhile, Caustencia Tanui, a cousin of the person who passed away, shared with a local publication that preparations to put their kin to rest on January 14, 2022, in Sergoit, Moiben, have begun as they wait for the results of the post-mortem examination.
