President William Ruto has arrived in Siaya County

After spending the last two days traveling around the Luo Nyanza area, President William Ruto has arrived in Siaya County to wrap up his visit.


 

Governor James Orengo of Siaya and Senator Oburu Odinga greeted and welcomed President William Ruto, who was with Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua. Other elected officials in the county did the same.
 

 

Before attending the homecoming ceremony of Information, Communications, and Technology (ICT) Cabinet Secretary Eliud Owalo in Rarieda Constituency, it is anticipated that the President will meet with the elected leaders of Siaya County to discuss national government development projects in the county.
 

 

The meeting will take place before the President attends the ceremony.
 

 

After starting and checking on a number of building projects in Homabay County, President William Ruto is now traveling through the Siaya region.
 

 

The president led the ceremony to start building the first phase of the Homa Bay Affordable Housing Program. He also led the ceremony to open the Homa Bay Town Municipal Market.
 

 

After that, Ruto boarded a plane and headed to Kisumu County, where he met with the governor of Kisumu, Prof. Anyang' Nyong'o, as well as other elected officials from the lakeside county.
 

 

"We are determined to make the most of the opportunities presented by the Kisumu Port, which has the potential to completely transform the economic landscape of the East African area."
 

 

At the Kisumu State Lodge, a meeting was convened for the administration of Kisumu County, which was chaired by Governor Prof. Anyang' Nyong'o. A conversation was had on the expansion of the port "that was posted by the president."
 

 

Before the Head of State flew to the Kisumu State Lodge, he met with the leaders of Migori County. The meeting was led by the Governor of Migori, Ochillo Ayacko.
