Gospel singer Nicah the Queen was wooed by Luo musician Emma Jalamo, who handed her Ksh200,000 in an attempt to get her to approve his amorous advances. Nicah, the queen, returned the money.
Nicah made the decision to unmask Jalamo for intruding on her despite the fact that he is aware that she is now in a relationship with DJ Slahver, with whom she became engaged in December 2022. Nicah got engaged to DJ Slahver in 2022.

The singer said that she is upset that Jalamo is making things difficult between her and DJ Slahver by calling her late at night and giving her money.

Nicah then assured Jalamo that she wasn't a socialite or a con artist who preyed on unsuspecting victims for money.
"Please, I'm not a money digger or a socialite, and I'm not interested in receiving such proposals!
"I informed you that I'm about to be married, but all you could reply was that you don't care."
She was upset that DJ Slahver had left her in Mombasa and stopped her from playing anywhere because of what Jalamo had done.
