A study by the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics says that Kirinyaga has the lowest number of men who have had more than two $exual partners in the past year than any other county in Kenya (KNBS).

According to the findings of the Kenya Demographic and Health Survey (KDHS) 2022, which were made public on Tuesday, the proportion of males in Kirinyaga who have had many $exual partners in the last year is 1.6%, followed by men in Kericho, who stand at 2.2%.

It was also found that 2.3% of males in Garissa had a minimum number of $exual partners, while the next highest number was 5.0 in Turkana.

According to the results of the poll, there are no women in Mandera who have had more than one $exual partner in the last year. This is a 100% reduction from the previous rate.

Tana River and Kwale women came next, with each group having a percentage of 0.5 of women, and Vihiga women had a percentage of 0.7%.

There was a significant increase in the number of women between the ages of 20 and 24 who were found to have had $exualencounters with more than one partner, with 31.1% of these women having $exual relations with a partner who was neither their wife nor someone who lived with them.

The proportion of males who had multiple $exual partners was highest among those aged 25 to 29.

On the other hand, 61.3% of those who were between the ages of 20 and 24 were more likely to have had $exual relations with a partner who was neither their wife nor someone who lived with them.

Researchers found that women in Murang'a led the list with 11% of individuals who have had the most number of $exual partners, while males in Migori ranked at 28.7% of those who have accomplished this feat.

It was found that a greater percentage of males (15%) than women (4%) had two or more $exual partners in the year prior to the survey. This finding was based on the findings of a study.

According to the statement, "24% of women and 45% of men who had more than one $exual partner in the past year said they used a condom during their most recent $exual encounter."

The sample for the Kenya Demographic and Health Survey (KDHS) of 2022 was chosen from the Kenya Household Master Sample Frame (K-HMSF).

This is the same frame that is currently used by KNBS to do sample surveys of households in Kenya.

The collection of information for the 2022 KDHS took place between February 17 and July 13 of the same year.
