Betty Adera is a former aspirant for the Westlands constituency

Betty Adera is a former aspirant for the Westlands constituency who has a foundation that has been defending women's rights and protecting victims of gender-based violence.

Speaking during an interview with K24 Television, she alluded to many things, including the tax issue that has hit the headlines since the beginning of this year.

"Everyone should pay taxes, and no one should be exempt, because we need to move forward as a country." "The KRA should come out and make a statement because they are the ones with the authority."

Through her foundation, she has really helped a lot of women and youths.

The Betty Adera Foundation wants to get people to think about what peacebuilding, justice, and social cohesion mean, how important they are, and what everyone's role is in these things so that more nonviolent ways to solve conflicts can be used at all levels.

Betty Adera has been very instrumental in the fight against gender and domestic-based violence.

"We should have strong women in positions of leadership." Betty is a capable leader who recognizes the requirements for community growth.

Women in leadership roles are at an all-time high. Still, stereotypes and challenges for female leaders continue to impact their growth and influence, resulting in a leadership gap.
