The annual Men's Conference on February 14 2023, also known as Valentine's Day, has come to be seen as a fictitious event created by men to get away from their spouses in the past few years.

The guys use Valentine's Day to talk about how to overcome problems or obstacles in their families and succeed in life and relationships while having a large to-do list.

However, the gathering in Meru was not cloaked in secrecy, in contrast to the men's conferences that take over social media on Valentine's Day. The venue and conversational subjects were not kept secret.

Through presentations and one-on-one counseling, more experienced attendees told young professionals how to deal with their marriages, girlfriends, money, and faraway relatives.

Despite the exception of Meru County MP Elizabeth Kailemia, women were not permitted to attend the event. She was let in when the conversation was over.

Delegates from Nairobi, Meru, Tharaka Nithi, Samburu, and other counties attended the conference, which was sponsored by Ikokay-Cheki Tubonge, the Meru Care Medical Center, Chainless Entertainment, and others. Ridgeways Gardens, near Makutano, hosted the event.

Bankers, businesspeople, attorneys, medical professionals, and current and past MCAs gave their hearts throughout the whole day.

They discussed the significance of money in relationships, family responsibilities, and how to succeed.

Pastor Robert Kirimi of Destiny Life Church told the participants to take care of their family responsibilities.

You need to prove to the family that you are their defender. a guy provides and guards.

The priest said, "If they are gone, the guy has failed."

But he also said that divine revelation was needed for people to live up to the responsibilities God had given them.

Men, if you don't pray, you're in tremendous danger. Concern should be expressed since more women than men attend churches.

"Any strong family has God as its cornerstone," Kirimi said.

Hours were spent listening to the younger guys vent about their spouses' "unreasonable demands" from the more experienced men in happy relationships.

According to Kenny Kaburu of Tharaka Nithi, "the meeting offered men a chance to exchange information and knowledge."
