The corpse of a 60-year-old man was left at the business site of a debtor who owed the dead man Ksh.400,000 on Monday at Bondeni Estate, which is located in Nakuru East. This event caused a lot of drama in the area.

Residents are mystified as to why the family of Richard Ogendi, who passed away two weeks ago before the microsavings company could pay him the cash owed to him, allegedly dumped his remains in an unknown location.

When the debtor's family came at his place of business early the next morning, they discovered that the debtor, Simon Waweru, also known as Baba Martin, had left the scene.

Following the incident, the officer in charge of police operations in Nakuru, Martin Masika, stated that they have given the family of the deceased the option to either return the body to the morgue or take it to Kisii for burial, with the recommendation that they continue pursuing the civil case after they have laid their loved one to rest.

Residents claim that Waweru, the founder of the microsavings club, is responsible for defrauding other members of the team out of significant sums of money.
