Linet Chepkorir, who is often called "Toto," is in court because she is accused of hiring six of her own family members.

On Monday, labor and employment judge James Toka ruled that the complaint brought against Toto must be tried in Bomet.

The court decided that the lawsuit didn't need to be filed in Nairobi and sent it to the Employment and Labor Relations Court in Eldoret.

In this case, two applicants accuse Toto of favoritism.

They claim that six people named as important parties in the lawsuit worked as support staff in various divisions of the Bomet County Woman Representative's office.

The two people who are challenging the six say that they were not vetted and chosen through a public process, so the court should throw out their appointments.

Also, they want the court to order Toto and the Public Service Commission to rehire their support staff in line with the rules set by the Salaries and Remuneration Commission.
