During their daughter's first birthday celebration, potential senator Karen Nyamu and her baby daddy, Samidoh, were seen together.

Samidoh is Karen Nyamu's biological father to her two kids.

A small gathering of the couple's immediate family and friends attended the birthday celebration for their child, which was held in an all-white setting.

Esther Bakhita, one of Ms Nyamu's closest friends, shared photographs that she had taken at the party.

In one of the pictures, the senator can be seen posing with Samidoh, who is wearing an outfit very similar to that which Ms Nyamu is wearing, consisting of a white t-shirt and army green pants.

The most recent song released by Samidoh, titled Bado Nakupenda, is playing in the background while the two are laughing and smiling.

Bakhita captioned the photo with the phrase, "A husband to my sister is a brother to me," possibly insinuating that the Mugithii singer was also Nyamu's husband.

The declaration came just a few days after Samidoh's wife, Edday Nderitu, made a public announcement that she was unwilling to keep her kids in a polygamous marriage with a woman who is older than her and one who fails to acknowledge her family. Edday Nderitu is Samidoh's wife.

She bemoaned the fact that Samidoh had been demeaning her and treating their marriage with a lack of respect, even though she had helped him strengthen his brand.

Edday added that the singer had endured a great deal of suffering over the past three years as a direct result of his relationship with Ms Nyamu.

"You have pulled me and my children into an ocean of pain, and I have asked God every day to give me the resilience to pray for you. However, today I cannot tell God about you because I do not have the strength to pray for you. I pray that you will not forget this day," she said.

Edday, who first became acquainted with Samidoh during their time together in high school, reported that she assisted him in developing his natural ability and constructing his brand.

"I have helped you encourage and support your talent and backed you through it all, but there is one thing I have said to you and I am saying here again, and that is that I will not raise my kids in a polygamy family, especially with a woman who is older than me by more than ten years and has no morals and zero respect for my family," the man said.

"I will not raise my kids with a woman who is older than me by more than ten years and has no respect for my family."

Samidoh has five children in total; three are with Edday and two are with the nominated senator.

Until just recently, Samidoh and Karen appeared to indicate that they'd recently ended their relationship differences.

However, they were seen together at the burial of the sister-in-law of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua. This dispelled the rumour that they had broken up.
