Personality in the Media After learning that she had been nominated for the job of senior executive assistant, Linda Oguttu begged her fellow Kenyans to pray for her.

Using her Twitter handle, Linda issued a call to her fans, encouraging them to show love and kindness to one another while they perused the list of other applicants who were selected.

On Monday, the Public Service Commission announced the publication of a list including the names of the 224 candidates who had been chosen for the CAS jobs.

The Public Service Commission said that they would begin conducting interviews on March 1, and President William Ruto will designate the winning applicants.

Additionally, noteworthy people who were considered for the award include Bishop Margaret Wanjiru, Cleophas Malalah, Evans Kidero, Millicent Omanga, Dennis Itumbi, Purity Ngirici, and Macdonald Mariga Wanyama.

Mwanaisha Chidzuga, James Ongwae, Nicholas Gumbo, and Isaac Mwaura are the other members of the shortlist.

In May 2022, Lindah was given the responsibility of leading the secretariat for the transition committee of the Football Kenya Federation.

With the dissolution of the FKF, her primary responsibility at the time was, alongside the other 27 officials, to monitor and direct activities related to football in the nation.

When her six-month term elapsed, Lindah said it was an honour to serve at FKF, adding that it wasn't an easy experience.

"It has been a great honour to serve on the FKF caretaker/transition committee for close to a year. We are done. It wasn't an easy experience, but it was one that I'm glad I had because I learned a lot from it. "Great lessons," she said.

Once the deadline for an engagement for which she had taken a sabbatical passed, fans speculated that the former TV queen Linda Ogutu may be on her way to making a return to the screen.

This has opened the door for rumours and conjecture about where she will go next.

Volumptious Lindah, who was known for her modest manner and was considered one of the best news anchors on Kenyan television, has said that it has been a pleasure to represent the federation for over a full year.

Following 10 months of leadership, she departed as the new presidency of President William Ruto began to assume control of several sectors of government.

She said in a statement that while it wasn't a simple job, she was glad to have the experience since she wouldn't have had it any other way.

She remarked, "It has been a wonderful pleasure to serve on the FKF caretaker/transition committee for over a whole year," and she had been on the panel for almost that long.

"We are done." "It wasn't a walk in the park, but it was an opportunity I wouldn't trade for the world."

Without wanting to go into much depth about her forthcoming job, Ms. Ogutu said she had learned "great lessons" at the FKF caretaker committee.

Upon her appointment as head of the caretaker committee secretariat in December 2021, the journalist decided to take a leave from her work in the media.

"A huge thank you to everyone who made an effort to assist." "I wish you the best of luck, Ababu Namwamba, in your new role as Cabinet Secretary. Waziri Congrats!"

Amina Mohamed, the former Cabinet Secretary for Sports, had nominated Linda Ogutu to serve as the head of the secretariat of the FKF caretaker committee for a term of six months.

She then revealed that to devote her whole attention to FKF, she had departed from her position as a TV host.

Ms. Linda Ogutu served as the head of the FKF Secretariat alongside Caesar Handa, Herbet Mwachiro, Edward Rombo, Hiba Hussein, and Gabriel Warigi as her colleagues.

Michael Mucheni served as the secretary, while Lorine Nerea Shitubi was the joint secretary.

Linda Ogutu's media career

During the height of the ego wars between KTN and NTV, the Standard Group had recruited Linda away from NTV and offered her a six-figure income in exchange for her services.

Fans were curious as to whether or not she would go back to her previous employer, NTV. Or will she get picked up by Citizen TV? While Nation Media Group has a track record of hiring back its previous staff members, the NTV option seems to be the more probable choice.

Before going under and doing her thing, sources claimed that the other most likely beneficiary could be TV47, which has been picking up the spoils in the competition for talent in the media industry.

In addition, with her ten months of experience working on football-related issues, the new Cabinet Secretary for Sports, Mr. Ababu Namwamba, could be able to find a role for her either in FKF management or in the area of media.

Linda Ogutu's husband

Dennis Mwangeka Mombo, a successful businessman in Nairobi City and the Managing Director of Mwananchi Microfinance Company, is her husband. She has two children with him.

On August 21, 2013, he was taken into custody when several expensive automobiles were discovered inside his residence, and investigators were able to link him to a criminal organisation that dealt with the theft of cars.

Later, it was discovered that Mombo runs a fraudulent company in which he offers loans to individuals and then utilizes their vehicles as collateral for the debts.

Linda Ogutu Children

The first images of Linda Ogutu's child went to the public for the first time in 2014. Linda and her husband, Mr. Dennis Mombo, had been blessed with a daughter.

Fans were going crazy on social media in anticipation of seeing pictures of the newborn daughter, and to end the rumours, Linda shared some pictures of the baby.

Despite this, she has put a lot of effort into protecting the privacy of her child, who is now four years old.
