Eric Omondi video

Kenyans react to Eric Omondi's video accusing gospel artists in Kenya. He accused her of abandoning God's music in favor of worldly pursuits.

Over the weekend, comedian Eric Omondi blasted former Kenyan gospel artists for being more scandalous than secular artists, calling them back to their original calling.

However, Willy Paul has hit back, saying his claims were the funniest jokes of all the others he told.

"All Kenyan gospel musicians have fallen; wakona scandals mingi than secular musicians," Eric Omondi mocks Kenyan gospel musicians.

"The gospel music industry was Kenyan music's identity, but it has fallen... gospel musicians have more scandals than secular musicians."

"They are just fornicating. Mmeachia gospel watu kama akina Apoko, ringtone analala watatu per day."

Kenyans reacted online.

Cythia Nyamai: "Eric Omondi, slow down." God knows His own, and gospel artists who are mocking Him should remember that He cannot be mocked. God knows his own. Hana stress. His desire is that none should perish.

Paul Ouma: Eric Omondi acts as the watchdog for our Kenyan music industry. It's a good thing he's decided to call out our gospel artists for not stepping up. He says they have more scandals compared to secular music artists.
