Jubilation at the Meru County Assembly as MCAs and Governor Kawira Mwangaza put their differences aside and vow to work together. "Yote yawezekana kwa imani"



Meru Governor Kawira Mwangaza walks out of the County Assembly together with MCAs singing songs of unity. The leaders have agreed to work together.


On Monday, there was rejoicing when delegates of the Meru Ward attended the meeting of the County Legislature to greet Governor Kawira Mwangaza.


The MCAs attempted to remove the governor from office, but the governor was able to avoid removal and was greeted with cheery greetings, embraces, and kisses.


After that, the county leaders went to the chambers of the Assembly for a private consultation session behind closed doors.


The previous discussion, which took place with Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, resulted in an agreement that disagreements among the county's leadership should be resolved.


Out of the total sum of KES 25 million that the MCAs had requested, the governor has consented to provide the MCAs with KES 15 million for their ward funds. 


The problem was solved during the conference that is that took place.
