Gatundu protests

In a video, people from Gatundu can be seen showing how angry they are about the attack on Uhuru's Northland property and pointing the finger at the current government.

The residents want the Kenyatta family to be respected and provided with enough security.

Massive anti-government protests across Kenya, organised by Raila Odinga of the Azimio One Kenya Alliance, took place on Monday during the assault.

After the conversion of Mama Ngina's properties into ranches, a local of Gatundu said that the community has become quite agitated and worried about the situation.

They pleaded with the president of Kenya, William Ruto, to increase the level of protection and assign police officers to keep an eye on Mama Ngina's properties.

Protesters argue that Deputy Prime Minister William Ruto must keep Kenyans safe.

The demonstrators are demanding that the law bring charges against the trespassers who smashed into Mama Ngina's property.
