Students at Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) have been warned not to upload recordings of themselves twerking while wearing school attire on TikTok.
The medical school has issued a statement warning students to remove the recordings or face a one-year punishment.
Students at KMTC are discouraged from posting videos of themselves twerking while wearing their school uniforms on Tiktok by the administration.
Concern has been raised regarding KMTC students producing and sharing these offensive videos on social media.
This diluted the KMTTC brand and harmed the college's reputation. Now any students found producing such videos will be suspended.
"Imagine if KMTC was compelled to issue a statement to denounce this video. In any case, I don't see any issues with this video. Being generous is good!" said Jakakimba.
Fake KMTC certificates
The Ministry of Health expelled a significant number of Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) students from campuses around the nation after learning about a significant scandal involving falsified academic papers.
A local daily learned that the students had fraudulent Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) credentials after their first term was nearly over, which was roughly seven months after they had entered the institutions in September last year.
A national scandal exists here. According to a KMTC source, 15 out of the 50 first-year students who began classes in Garissa in September were discovered to have bogus documents, along with five additional students from the Port Reitz site in Mombasa.
