Ben Chilwell has renewed his deal with Chelsea, keeping him attached to the team until 2027. The left-back's existing contract, which was set to expire in 2025, has been extended by two years. Chelsea is set for the weekend summer competition against Brighton.


According to Chilwell on the club's official website, "I feel very settled at Chelsea and have really enjoyed my time on the pitch here."


"I'm very pleased the club wants me to be part of the project long-term, and I am very happy to sign this extension to my contract."


"We are striving for a successful outcome, and I will do everything in my power to provide a greater smile to all the supporters who have welcomed me so warmly," he said.


Before joining Chelsea in July 2020, the 26-year-old progressed through the ranks of Leicester City.


He has made 152 total appearances in the Premier League, scoring 12 goals, dishing out 17 assists, and keeping 39 clean sheets.


Chilwell was also a member of Chelsea's 2021 UEFA Champions League-winning squad.


On Saturday, Chelsea will face Brighton & Hove Albion in Premier League play. The Premier League Summer Series, which has been revealed today, kicks off with this match.
