Watch K24 EPL Maskani game today 22nd April 2023, Liverpool vs Nottingham Forest

Liverpool lost 1-0 to Nottingham Forest when they visited the City Ground in October. One of Liverpool's eight road losses this year was a result of this one.

Liverpool will host Nottingham Forest at Anfield on Saturday. For the season, the Reds have performed admirably at Anfield, recording 9W-4D-1L and an overall goal differential of +25.

Liverpool recently destroyed Leeds United 6-1 at Elland Road, and they appear to be hitting their stride.

Nottingham Forest is struggling and is currently in the bottom zone going into matchday 32.

After the World Cup, Steve Cooper's team saw a surge, but it has since halted. Forest has dropped five of its previous six Premier League games while earning just one point.

The only teams that have given up more goals than Nottingham Forest this year are Leeds United and Bournemouth.

The fact that Liverpool scored six goals at Elland Road on Tuesday ought to make Forest nervous about travelling to Anfield on Saturday.

Liverpool is nine points behind fourth place and three points off the top six. Eight points are still available for Liverpool to close their deficit and qualify for the Champions League.

The weakest opponent in the Premier League is Nottingham Forest. This season, Forest has just one road victory, three draws, and 11 losses.

More away goals (36) have been given up by Cooper's team than by any other travelling Premier League squad. From a possible 45 points, only six have been earned away from the City Ground.

After Tuesday's victory over Leeds, Jurgen Klopp has several choices in terms of attacks.

Diogo Jota netted twice, Mohamed Salah scored a brace, Cody Gakpo scored once and provided an assist, and Darwin Nunez netted his eleventh league goal off the bench.

Trent Alexander-Arnold accrued two assists while manning a hybrid right-back/central midfield position. In the past two games, he has now provided three assists.

Only Calvin Ramsay, Naby Keita, and Stefan Bajcetic are expected to miss the game for Liverpool. Following a knee injury, Luis Diaz made a brief appearance against Leeds.

There are several players on Cooper's injured list. Chris Wood, Giulian Biancone, Willy Boly, Dean Henderson, Cheikhou Kouyate, and Omar Richards won't be there for him.

Although Liverpool is improving, Saturday's matchup should be closer than midweek's 6-1 victory against Leeds United.
