When they play Crystal Palace this weekend in another London derby, Tottenham Hotspur will be anxious for all three points since the Lilywhites are now positioned all the way down in seventh place, while the Eagles are currently positioned in 11th place.

Spurs have had a forgettable season for a significant portion of the competition, and they enter this match five points out of the top five and nine points behind Manchester United, which is now in fourth place.

Tottenham vs Crystal Palace match live on EPL Maskani today

This comes in the wake of the action-packed match against Liverpool at Anfield the previous Sunday.

After allowing four goals during their defeat by a score of 4-3 on Merseyside, the team from north London now has a total of 57 goals conceded. Spurs fell behind by a score of 3-0 in the first 15 minutes of the match.

They were able to tie the game following goals from Harry Kane, Richarlson and Son Heung-min, but it took until the 94th minute Liverpool scored the game-winning goal.

Even though it seemed as if the Brazilian had salvaged a point for Spurs from 3-0 down, a finish from Diogo Jota only seconds later and in the 94th minute of the game ensured that the team lost for the 12th time this season and, as a consequence, stayed in seventh place.

Spurs are still undefeated at home on the season, having won 16 of their matches so far, but they haven't emerged victorious since an outstanding effort against a Brighton team that was in good form at the beginning of April.

Since then, Spurs have suffered some devastating losses, including a 3-2 loss to Bournemouth in the middle of April, followed by an unbelievable 6-1 loss to Newcastle United, in which they were down 5-0 in the first 20 minutes of play.

The most recent match between Palace and West Ham United was a nail-biting 4-3 victory for Palace.

Jordan Ayew opened the scoring for Palace, and then Wilfried Zaha and Jeffrey Schlupp added two more goals before halftime.

The outcome of the game was decided when Eberechi Eze was given a penalty in the second half.

Palace has officially reached the 40-point threshold that the Premier League traditionally uses to deem a club safe from the relegation zone.

They are now 10 points clear of the danger zone and are almost certain to remain in the top flight next year.

The most recent victory for Palace was also the club's fourth victory in this second Roy Hodgson tenure.

The team enters this match having previously triumphed against Leeds United by a score of 5-1, Leicester City by a score of 2-1, and Southampton by a score of 2-0.
