Chito Ndhlovu, a radio host, has been named as Oga Obina's successor on Kiss FM's morning

Chito Ndhlovu, a radio host, has been named as Oga Obina's successor on Kiss FM's morning programme.

Ndhlovu, who has been employed by Kiss FM for the last six years, quit his show as host of the drive programme last week, leaving his admirers to wonder what would become of him.

Ndhlovu will join Sheila Kwamboka on the early-morning programme, Kiss FM confirmed on Sunday.

"Alert! New Co-Host! Please join us in welcoming Chito Ndhlovu, who will be appearing on our energetic morning programme with Kwambox. " The station said, "Get ready for an influx of energy and fun beginning Monday at 6 a.m."

Chito Ndhlovu thanked his supporters for their support over the last two years as he announced his retirement from the evening drive programme.

"Hosting this concert at Kiss 100 Kenya for the last two years has been a dream come true. Together, we have experienced pleasure, sadness, and tears. One of the biggest joys of my life has been doing this with Cyd Wambui, he remarked.

Who is Chito Ndhlovu, and what is his career?

He began his broadcasting career at One FM, where, from 2013 to 2014, he anchored the drive programme.

Prior to joining Urban Radio in 2015, Chito worked as a drive-time programme presenter for Nation Media Group's radio division in 2014.

Later, in 2017, he relocated to Kiss FM, where he anchored the evening programme Maloko before being promoted to co-host the drive show with Cyd.
