Prime Cabinet Secretary Mudavadi donated Ksh1 million to a Nairobi school

Prime Cabinet Secretary Mudavadi donated Ksh1 million to a Nairobi school to renovate their school bus.

The move left netizens online in shock after the donation, citing that the KK government does not have any priorities.

The move comes after deputy president Rigathi Gachagua donated Sh1 million for a school party in Limuru.

On Saturday, May 20, Limuru Girls High School pupils were delighted by Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua's gift of Ksh1 million for a school party.

Gachagua presented the funds while addressing the school's centenary celebration, saying that they were going to help the pupils honour their academic prowess and discipline.

Gachagua said, "Let me organise this girls' party to ensure they can eat whatever they want."

"So let me deliver that Ksh 1 million for the student party and hand it to the Chief Principal while President Ruto takes care of the more important matters," Gachagua said.

Gachagua went on to praise the chief principal of Limuru Girls, saying that her accomplishment was the result of tenacity and effort.

President William Ruto, on the other hand, offered to send another bus to the school. The Head of State decided to add an additional bus after seeing that enrollment at the school had greatly grown.

"I've seen that there are now more than 2,000 pupils, up from 1,400 at one point. Two buses for more than 2,000 children is not enough, so I will hunt for another vehicle the following week," Ruto assured.
