Ababu Namwamba and Azziad Nasenya

After becoming famous for wearing identical shoes to Cabinet Secretary (CS) Ababu Namwamba for Youth Affairs, Sports, and the Arts, TikToker Azziad Nasenya has finally responded.

After some online users questioned why Azziad donned identical shoes to CS Namwamba, the topic of Azziad's attire dominated conversation for the greater part of the preceding week. She was at the time travelling to Dubai.

Speaking to local YouTuber Vincent Mboya about the charges on Saturday, June 10, 2023, Azziad said that the assertions had no impact on her at all since she is used to "trending."

Appearing at the Thika Road Mall (TRM), wherein she participated in the Bic launch in Nairobi, the stunning woman said that notwithstanding many claims spreading online, she has continued to rise to higher heights.

"People should see that even though people are still talking, I am still moving and continuing to fly. I continue to soar to heights I never thought I would. God has said yes, and whenever he does, none of you can argue differently, irrespective of who you are.

"Life has been taking place, and I have been trending virtually every other month. I just live my life and carry out my daily obligations. Noting that nothing has changed," she said.

"People are mad; it's okay to be mad," she said, "but I constantly remind myself this: if you happen to be mad and you've reflected it on me as well, at the final moment of the day, when I pray to God, you have obstructed your very own blessings."

The influencer also shared pearls of wisdom with other creatives in the industry, urging them to develop offline businesses to supplement their online income in case things go south.

"As much as you are doing stuff on the internet, you're not reliant on it exclusively. If you can invest outside, if you can do other things, I always stress. Do not put all your eggs in one basket, considering that you simply never know. The internet may be down when you awaken the next day, or there may be another app doing far better than TikTok.

The content author said that the proposed tax rate of 15% in the Finance Bill 2023 should be decreased since it is a little higher. She did agree that everyone who earns money has to pay taxes, however.

"Every individual ought to contribute taxes, and I do so every year. I simply think it's a little bit on the higher end; if it decreases, great, because every citizen should be contributing to their taxes as long as they are over 18 and have a job.
