Stunning Tiktoker for supposedly disparaging online star Azziad Nasenya, Brian Chira, is being held by authorities.
According to Azziad's attorney, Gertrude Kibare, this is the case.
The attorney said during her testimony on Eve Mungai's YouTube channel that Chira was first detained in Nakuru before being taken to a police station close to Wilson Airport.
She asserts that during a live session captured last week on TikTok, Chira made derogatory remarks about Azziad. The content producer under fire is also accused of giving her audience access to her personal contacts.
He provided Azziad's contacts while going live online sometime last week. Since then, my customer has received a tonne of calls and emails.
My client made the decision to take the case to court after learning that Chira was accused of cybercrimes and computer usage. Investigations are being conducted, the attorney said.
Just a few days prior, Chira said that three guys had attacked him after breaking into his home at approximately 9 p.m.
Chira, whose face was visibly injured, provided a detailed account of his attack, claiming that the trio ambushed him while he was preparing food.
He claims that the irate guys demanded payment from him after pouring his omena stew into the washbasin.
His phone, laptop, and a few household items with an approximate value of Ksh70,000 were taken by the burglars.
He stated that one of the goons had pulled him to the ground when he refused to participate, causing swelling in his face.
