The team led by Vincent Kompany played the finest football in the division and enjoyed scoring goals.

When Burnley was promoted from the Championship at the end of last season, there were high expectations for them, but things haven't gone well for the Clarets in the Premier League thus far.

Currently, Kompany's team is in third-to-last place in the Premier League table from bottom with no points.

Burnley's Premier League season got off to a bad start at Turf Moor when they were defeated 3-0 by reigning champions Manchester City.

It came after a 3-1 defeat to Aston Villa in front of supporters.

On Wednesday night, Burnley will play Nottingham Forest away from home at the City Ground in the Second Round North of the EFL Cup.

Then they will host Tottenham Hotspur in a Premier League match.

The Clarets are one of the teams that face the possibility of being demoted to the Championship at the end of the current campaign; therefore, they must start accruing points and winning matches right away.
Vincent Kompany, the manager of Burnley, would probably set up his team in a 4-4-2 layout.

The two attackers will be Amdouni and Foster. In the middle of the pitch, Cullen and Berge will debut.

The two wingers will be Manuel and Koleosho.

Goalkeeper Trafford will start. They will be Roberts, Al Dakhil, O'Shea, and Delcroix.

Tottenham Hotspur had a terrible season last year and finished outside of the top four in the Premier League standings.

Spurs had a bad season, and at the height of the summer transfer window, they lost star scorer Harry Kane to Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.

However, the Spurs are currently having success under head coach Ange Postecoglou.

Tottenham is winning games and performing fantastic soccer.

Tottenham began their Premier League campaign with a 2-2 draw against Brentford in a London derby played away from home.

It came after a 2-0 triumph against Bournemouth away from home in the Premier League and a 2-0 victory over Manchester United at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the league, respectively.

Spurs will play Fulham at Craven Cottage on Tuesday night in the EFL Cup Second Round South before taking on Burnley the following weekend.

Team Data.

Against Burnley, Tottenham Hotspur head coach Ange Postecoglou is anticipated to set up his team in a 4-2-3-1 formation.

Despite his recent struggles, Richarlison is still expected to start at centre striker for the North London club.

He will be followed by three offensive midfielders: Kulusevski, Maddison, and Son.
