The unfortunate passing of a county director for the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Livestock is being looked into by Kwale police.
On Sunday morning, Martin Kiogora's body was discovered at his residence in Kwale Town, Matuga Sub-county.
William Cheruiyot, the area's OCPD, acknowledged the occurrence but was unable to provide any information.
A landlord expressed worry about the deceased's odd practice of leaving his bedroom door open since Saturday night, according to a police report.
According to the complaint, Martin Kiogora, the head of the Kwale County Department of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Livestock, had not secured his door since Saturday at approximately 6:00 a.m., according to landlord Francis Kanguno of Kwale Township.
Police from Kwale police station reacted right away, and it was later discovered that the director had passed away.
The dead were discovered in his chair, lying down.
Kiogora's body had no obvious wounds, according to early police examinations.
The body was transferred by the police to the mortuary of the Kwale Subcounty Hospital for a postmortem and additional inquiries.
While they await the results of the autopsy, the family has not yet confirmed the funeral arrangements.
Since the start of the devolutionary administration, Kiogora has served the county.
