Phil Karanja reveals why he dumped Kate Actress after 5 years in Marriage

After five years of marriage, actress Catherine Kamau and director Phillip Karanja have made their split clear on social media in a joint statement.

The pair opted to keep their breakup quiet and revealed it in a joint statement on Tuesday, September 19, 2023.

"We parted after deciding to end our marriage a long time ago. We humbly ask that everyone respect our requests for privacy for our family, including our children, "Kate and Phil said in a joint statement.

 

 

"It was never a secret; we simply kept it quiet," Kate continued. "Asanteni Sana thanks all of our devoted followers for their support throughout the years."

Phillip Karanja added his voice to the conversation to affirm that they had genuinely broken up their relationship and that everyone should now let them move on with their lives apart.

Phil added, "Hii ni Mmabo ya Watu wawili, but permit us to add you to the group Char Kidogo, so we can continue with our lives, bila story mob."

He said, "Kate and I remain friends, co-parents, and business partners."

Before revealing their split, the two had been debating it for months. They have been married for more than five years and have one child together.

The Windsor Golf Hotel and Country Club hosted the wedding in November 2017.
