Newcastle vs Manchester United game on K24 EPL TV

Football fans are in for a treat this weekend as Newcastle United and Manchester United battle it out at St. James' Park.

Both teams are coming off draws in the Champions League, but their focus now shifts to one of the most highly anticipated Premier League clashes of the season.

The Magpies and Paris Saint-Germain played an intense 1-1 draw in France, while the Red Devils locked horns with Galatasaray in an epic six-goal thriller that had fans on the edge of their seats.

Only one point separates Newcastle in seventh place from sixth-place Manchester United in the Premier League standings, making this weekend's match a crucial one for both teams.

Newcastle may have come agonizingly close to defeating PSG in their last match, but they were denied a penalty in the 98th minute, which Kylian Mbappe converted.

Despite having only 27% of the possession and saving 31 shots, the Magpies managed to secure a draw, but they'll be looking for a win this time around.

The team has only lost one of their last nine Premier League games and won six, drawing two.

They also triumphed in their last five home league games, including a smashing 4-1 victory over Chelsea in the previous weekend.

Meanwhile, Manchester United had a disappointing draw against Galatasaray, where they held leads of 2-0 and 3-1 before conceding late goals. Goalie Andre Onana made a string of errors that cost the team a win, but they'll be looking to bounce back against Newcastle.

Manchester United's inconsistent record, with ten victories and nine losses, is evident, but the team has been winning a lot lately in the Premier League, defeating Fulham, Luton, and Everton three times in a row.

They'll be hoping to continue their winning streak by silencing the St. James' Park supporters on Saturday.

Head-to-head, Newcastle has already beaten Manchester United twice in 2023, first winning 2-0 in the league in April and then 3-0 in the EFL Cup on November 1.

However, the fact that the Red Devils have only lost one of their last seven Premier League encounters with the Magpies gives them cause for optimism.

Both teams will be missing some key players due to injuries, but we should still see a lot of goals at St. James' Park as both teams try to stay within striking distance of the top four.

According to pundits, the home team is expected to triumph with a total of over 4.5 goals being scored. Don't miss this epic match-up on K24 Plus App!
