Newcastle United and Luton Town game tomorrow on K24 TV

This Saturday, two Premier League teams, Newcastle United and Luton Town, are scheduled to play against each other at St. James' Park.

Both teams are coming into this match with a positive attitude after winning their respective midweek games. Newcastle United played against Aston Villa and won by 3-1, while Luton Town played against Brighton & Hove Albion and won by 4-0.

In their most recent match, Newcastle United's defender Fabian Schar broke his 73-shot drought in the Premier League with an improbable brace in the match against Villa.

Newcastle United won thanks to Schar's excellent shot at Kieran Trippier's corner and his perfect positioning to poke Anthony Gordon's shot home. Alex Moreno's own goal put the game away within seven minutes of the second half.

Eddie Howe's Newcastle United side may have given up hope of a repeat Champions League qualification after a disappointing winter, but they remain in seventh place and are still hopeful of a Europa League or Europa Conference League spot.

However, their home record has been poor, losing three of their last four home matches, including their most recent two Premier League encounters against Nottingham Forest and Manchester City.

Luton Town, on the other hand, achieved their largest Premier League victory to date with a 2-0 win over Brighton & Hove Albion, thanks to Elijah Adebayo's fantastic hat-trick and Chiedozie Ogbene's goal.

The win helped Luton Town climb out of the relegation zone and extended their winning run to three games and their undefeated record to five matches across all competitions.

Although they have lost 16 of their last 21 league visits to St. James' Park, Luton Town held Newcastle United at bay with a 1-0 victory at Kenilworth Road on December 23.

Newcastle United are currently without Callum Wilson and Joelinton due to injuries, leaving them without a recognised central striker if Alexander Isak is unable to play.

Additionally, Nick Pope, Elliot Anderson, Joe Willock, and Jamaal Lascelles are also out due to injuries.

Meanwhile, Issa Kabore, who is on loan from Manchester City, might make his domestic return on Saturday after helping Burkina Faso lose in the quarterfinals of the Africa Cup of Nations to Mali.

If everyone is healthy, Luton Town is likely to start the same eleven that thrashed the Seagulls last week.

However, if needed, Andros Townsend, a former Newcastle United player, might give the attacking line a breather.

In conclusion, both teams have had their share of ups and downs, but they are hopeful of a good game this Saturday.
