I’m Grace Ojwang, and I’m from a little Siaya community. I was eager to create a family when I got married at the age of twenty-eight. Tom, my husband, was nice and patient, and we both wanted kids as soon as possible.
However, nothing changed as the years went by. My heart would ache every time I watched a lady hugging her child. Whispering began. Some even called me derogatory names and ceased disguising it.
