Kirinyaga MCAs dessert and frustrates Governor Waiguru over KEMRI deal

Kirinyaga Governor Ann Waiguru in a lonely mood after MCA's decision to abandon her calls and changes.

The MCAs stand accused of contriving to frustrate Waiguru's efforts at effecting changes in the county. 

The term-limit for her existing CeCs ended and had nominated four people to take up the existing posts but only one succeeded. The MCAs rejected the nominees.


After she blocked the KEMRI deal, the MCAs vowed to block all her plans and frustrate her office.

Explaining the rejection, Gudson Muchina, MCA for Tebere Ward provided that they had made the decision based on recommendations from the relevant committees.

Governor Ann Waiguru is desserted. According to Kirinyaga Senator Charles Kibiru, the governor has been in trouble with the MCAs for quite sometime.
