Deputy President William Ruto revives Jubilee Asili slogan Sote Pamoja at a function involving youth from Tana River county.
DP William Ruto stated that the country needs leaders who can take people grievances and work on them.
He added that in future, the TVETS institutions will introduce new courses that will enhance talent development across the nation.
" Held an empowerment conversation with a group of artists from Tana River County led by Salim Abubakar in the company of area Woman Rep. Rehema Hassan, Tharaka Nithi Senator Kithure Kindiki, " he posted.
In attendance were MPs Ben Washiali (Mumias East) George Sunkuyia (Kajiado West), Rigathi Gachagua (Mathira), Eric Muchangi (Runyenjes), Geoffrey King'ang'i (Mbeere South) and John Muchiri (Manyatta).
" We are reviewing our technical training curriculum to incorporate courses on dance, music, theatre, mime, spoken word, puppetry, among other forms of performing arts to enable the youth to gain professional training, " the DP William Ruto added.
The move will make the youth develop and exploit their talents, hence empowering themselves economically.
