Marriage hits rocks, and dead-end as gospel musician Daddy Owen and his wife Farida Wambui Kamau set the internet on fire over their nasty secret break-up.
Reports indicate that Wambui walked out of her four-year marriage, then engaged to a hotelier and a Gilgil tycoon.
The couple wedded on April 2, 2016, while Owen was still mounting flying in the local gospel music heights.
His star diminished somewhat then he started a business. He started selling phone covers, screen protectors, chargers, power banks, earphones, and headphones under his BalanceByDaddyOwen brand.
“As we speak, Daddy Owen fears for his life, he is in hiding,” a local news quote, “He changes cars and doesn’t sleep at the same place often.”
The drama at his home began a year after their lavish wedding. “He is depressed, and it all came to a hold when he was called by a family member who works in a posh hotel in Naivasha, " Wambui family member said.
This year all revelation came to pass.
"The relative told him, he has just seen his wife get engaged to a rich tycoon and he was wondering what’s up?” adds the publication.
All the while, it’s said Wambui had told her husband that she was away on a business trip.
“He had no idea what that relative was talking about. He travelled to Naivasha where he tracked down the couple and found out that the man who engaged his wife is a hotelier and a business mogul in Gilgil.”
Wambui wedded the tycoon in a secret affair at one of his hotels. Wambui while in an active marriage, got married to the Gilgil tycoon dumping Daddy Owen to distress.
