Peoples Empowerment Party (PEP) field a candidate for the upcoming Nairobi gubernatorial race. 

Former Nairobi town clerk Phillip Kisia will be on the ballot with his running mate Caroline Ndungu.

MP Moses Kuria associated party PEP won the Gaturi County assembly seat in a by-election last month.

Phillip Kisia will be battling it out with three other candidates who have declared interests to the race. 

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria is flexing muscles with the new party ahead of the upcoming general elections.

Several Parties lined-up after the creation of the United Democratic Alliance.

Roots Party of Kenya has joined the crowded race for Nairobi governor and will sponsor a candidate to succeed impeached Mike Sonko.

Party leader Prof George Wajackoyah on Tuesday unveiled RPK candidate Isaac Chege Njuguna who will battle it out with more seasoned politicians.

Njuguna is a businessman, a scientist and an alumnus of Alliance, Nairobi, Strathmore and City University in London.
