Wiper unveils Agnes Kavindu as its candidate for the upcoming senatorial by-election in Machakos. She is the ex-wife of former Machakos Senator Johnson Muthama.
Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka said the move helps to clinch the seat.
He directed all wiper officials across the Eastern Counties to propel the selected candidate for the vacant seat left by the late Senator Boniface Kabaka.
Sebastian Muli Munguti also picked to run for Kitisi Kithuki ward by-election.
“We have Agnes Kavindu Muthama on our side and she is a strong candidate and already has given us all Muthama’s secrets and we will floor the ex-husband very early in the morning,” said Kathiani MP Robert Mbui who doubles as Wiper Party national organising secretary.
