John Christon Shipiti, 52, reported having attacked a 17-year-old class 8 pupil on August 7, 2020, inflicting grievous injuries on him has been arrested, pending arraignment for Murder.
His arrest yesterday followed the death of the Chemego Primary School pupil, suspected to have succumbed to the severity of the injuries, moments after seeking treatment at a Vihiga hospital.
John Christon Shipiti is reported to have dramatically served hot blows and kicks to the pupil, after speculating him of having a love affair with his 13-year-old daughter.
The boys' legs, cheeks, forehead and upper lip had been severely injured, but the sad incident was hidden and kept secret until yesterday.
As the body awaits autopsy, the suspect remains in custody undergoing legal procedures.
