Atheists in Kenya Secretary-General Seth Mahiga resigns after finding Christ.
Seth Mahiga has been at the helm of the organization for one and half years resigned on Saturday evening after becoming a devoted Christian.
"Seth's reason for resigning is that he has found Jesus Christ and is no longer interested in promoting atheism in Kenya. We wish Seth all the best in his newfound relationship with Jesus Christ," Atheists president Harrison Mumia said.
The President thanked him for having served society with dedication and hard work.
He said Kenyans interested in the position should send their CVs to info@atheistsinkenya.org.
Last year, Atheists in Kenya Society told gospel singer Ruth Matete to join the society after she wrecked church leaders for hypocrisy.
The Atheists President said they followed Matete’s news concerning Christians’ hypocrisy asked her to join them and encounter peace of mind.
Pst Matete went through a very difficult period following the death of her husband Pastor John Olakami Apewajoye in April.
This evening, regretfully, our Secretary Mr. Seth Mahiga made the decision to resign from his position as Secretary of our society.
